The Seiko SBSA299 is a 2025 addition to the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series, specifically released as a Japan-exclusive (JDM) model. Nicknamed the "Street Denim" or "City Boy SKX" due to its modern, urban aesthetic, this timepiece features a versatile 38.0mm Stainless Steel Case. It is designed to bridge the gap between rugged sport-style functionality and contemporary street fashion, with a color palette specifically chosen to coordinate with denim apparel.The watch features a deep Navy Blue Dial and a matching navy unidirectional rotating bezel. As a true JDM model, it is equipped with a bilingual Kanji/English day-date display at the 4 o'clock position. It is powered by the reliable in-house Seiko Caliber 4R36 Automatic Movement, which offers hacking seconds and manual winding capabilities alongside a 41-hour power reserve. The watch is finished with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a double-locking three-fold clasp and provides 100-meter water resistance, making it a durable choice for an active city lifestyle.
