The Seiko 5 Sports Automatic GMT SBSC001 is a highly anticipated and robust men's timepiece, affectionately nicknamed the "SKX GMT" by enthusiasts for its heritage design inspired by the classic SKX series. This watch is a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) model, featuring the convenience of dual time zone display for international travelers. The watch is powered by Seiko's new in-house Automatic GMT movement (Caliber 4R34) with 24 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The watch features a bold black dial with a conspicuous red GMT hand for instant second time zone tracking, all housed within a substantial 42.5mm stainless steel case. The rotating bi-color bezel, made of Hardlex glass, adds depth and distinguishes between day and night hours. It is protected by a scratch-resistant Hardlex crystal and is completed by a newly designed Jubilee-style stainless steel bracelet. Practical features include a Day/Date display and a water resistance rating of 100 meters (10 Bar), suitable for swimming and active wear.
